Terms & Conditions

In signing up for Essex Powerlines Peaksaver Program you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

• I choose to participate in EPC's "Peaksaver"" program being offered pursuant to, and in accordance with, the Ontario Power Authority's (OPA) PeaksaverTM program
• I will permit the Load Control Device installed at my premises to operate until a date not earlier than December 31, 2010
• Given my consent, I acknowledge that after December 31, 2010, I may be eligible to participate in other demand response programs as determined by Essex Powerlines Corporation.
• I will take the reasonable steps necessary to ensure the Load Control Device is not moved, removed or damaged, and continues to operate as intended
• I acknowledge that the OPA or a person designated by the OPA shall have the right to control or dispatch the load control device
• I agree that no Person except the OPA or a Person designated by the OPA shall have the right to control or dispatch the Load Control Device
• I will provide reasonable rights of access to the premises for the purpose of inspection and maintenance of the Load Control Device
• I acknowledge that the appliance on which the Load Control Device is installed is in good working order
• I acknowledge that Essex Powerlines Corporation formally owns the Load Control Device being installed
• I own, or I am a joint owner of the above named residence. If I am a tenant, I have supplied written approval from the owner of the residence to install the energy management equipment
• The named residence has central air-conditioning
